Description
In March and April 2021, the Fratellis started producing live sessions while stuck in Glasgow during the COVID-19 pandemic to prepare for their new album Half Drunk Under a Full Moon.
The band were scheduled to perform on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show and had to come up with a new cover. After being suggested by their manager, the band ended up covering Baccara’s “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie” which had been adopted by the Scottish national football team as their anthem. As the Euro’s were coming up, the song really took off and is now a staple of the band’s setlist.
Jackie Negus –
This is lovely, sounds as sharp and clear as the recording on the album.
